Agia Marina, Lygourio

During our spring trip to ancient Epidavros, we made a brief lunch stop near the site of an ancient pyramid (yep, pyramids in Greece. who knew.) Although we were given a talk about the geology of the area by a local archaeologist, I was distracted by the possibility of food and by this lovely post-Byzantine church, dedicated to Saint Marina. It was completed in 1713, and although tiny, I liked looking around.

The food was good too.

Thanks for letting us peep inside too. Your photos always make me wish I’d been there to take the same ones!
