Mount Horrid, Vermont

Aside from having a wonderful name, this mountain also has a wonderful view. My mom and I hiked up part of the Long Trail, the Appalachian Trail that runs through Vermont, and ended up at ‘the Great Cliff.’ (Very original names). From here it is easy to understand why Vermont is called the Green Mountain State!
