Chios – Perleas Mansion

Last October (as in.. more than a year ago. whoops.), I had a five-day-weekend holiday, that my family and I took advantage of to visit the island of Chios. I know it is now more than a year later, but I’m going to slowly shake the dust off the photos and share them here.

First up – where we stayed. After a lot of reading, my aunt zeroed in on Perleas Mansion for our home base, and it was an amazing choice. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves! Oh and the cat was pretty friendly too.

A Reintroduction

It’s late at night and I’m procrastinating, so I decided it might be time to resurrect my blog from the shadowy corners of internet obscurity. For anyone who hasn’t been keeping up with me, I’m now in Scotland doing a Masters at the University of Edinburgh, and missing Greece.. a lot.

Studies take up a lot of my time, and I don’t carry my camera around with me nearly as much as I used to – my laptop comes with me more these days. Still, I have a lot of photos from life and travels, and will post them more frequently than I used to ( which was.. never). Also, I may write something sometimes.

Thanks for sticking with me. In the meantime, a photo (via iPhone) of lovely Athens – Syntagma Square.
